3 Easy Steps to Your First Bubbles Step 1: Learn the Basics (From Your Couch!) Kick things off with PADI eLearning—no classrooms, no pressure. Learn the essentials of scuba diving at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. By the time you’re done, you’ll feel confident and ready to jump in (literally). Step 2: Pool Time = Skill Time Now the fun begins. Get into the water and try out your scuba gear in a relaxed, controlled environment. With your instructor right by your side, you’ll master the key skills, build confidence, and start feeling like a real diver. Step 3: Ocean Adventure Awaits Time to take it to the open water! Complete four dives in the ocean and put everything you’ve learned into action. This is where it all comes together—and where you officially become a certified PADI diver.

We’ve designed this course to fit around your lifestyle while keeping things relaxed and enjoyable. The course normally takes 2 weekends to complete Step 1 – Complete PADI eLearning: Complete your theory online at your own pace—on your phone, tablet, or laptop. No rushing, no classroom pressure. Step 2 – Orientation Confined Water (Pool) Saturday: 1–2 sessions where you’ll learn and practice essential skills in a calm, controlled environment. Step 3 – Open Water Dives Sunday and next Saturday: 4 ocean dives, typically over 2 days, where everything comes together. If we think you need more training, we will arrange another pool session for you with no extra charge!

a) Is the PADI Open Water certification recognised worldwide? Yes—your PADI certification is accepted globally. It’s the gold standard in recreational diving. That means you can: • Dive in places like the Great Barrier Reef, Bali, Maldives, or anywhere else • Rent equipment and join dive trips worldwide • Continue your training with advanced or specialty courses anywhere Once you’re certified, the world quite literally opens up underwater. b) Do I need to own my equipment for the course? Not at all. We provide everything you need during your training. In fact, we recommend starting with rental gear so you can: • Learn what equipment suits you best • Get comfortable before investing • Avoid unnecessary costs early on If you decide to continue diving (which most people do!), we’re happy to guide you in choosing the right gear. c) Do I need to know how to swim? Yes—but don’t worry, it’s very achievable for most people. You’ll need to: • Swim 200 metres at your own pace (no time limit, any style) • Float or tread water for 10 minutes This isn’t a race—it’s simply to ensure you’re comfortable and safe in the water.
